Who Am I?

Welcome to My Pencils Have Memories: Treasuring the Little Things! I’m so thankful that you have decided to check out my blog!!

I just wanted to take a few sentences here to introduce myself! My name is Hannah Forrider, I am an Elementary Education major at Moody Bible Institute, and was born and raised in the heart of Chicago where I still reside today.

Some of the things in life that I absolutely love are kids, traveling, Chicago, photography, baseball, and the Lord (who definitely comes before all else). Most of my time outside of school is spent babysitting, having so much fun working with teens in my job at Young Life Chicago Near North, hanging with my friends, and exploring Chicago.

I have been so blessed to attend the best school for Bible education in the country, and have learned so much about Jesus and my walk with Him, which is the most important thing in my life. Processing life through this lens is so crucial. I’ve been on such a journey learning how God is using me for His kingdom and, to be honest, I still am on that journey. Writing helps me understand things better and better, so I’m hoping this blog will help not only me as I learn new things on the daily, but maybe someone else will be able to relate in the process and can learn along the journey with me.
